So, get this. We take the concept of vehicle crash test dummies, convert the idea into a video game, and inevitably profit on the lame-o premise, right? Not if we have anything to say about it! Based on the overplayed commercials and the mindless toy line comes The Incredible Crash Dummies developed by Gray Matter and published on SNES by LJN. A simple, side-scrolling adventure on Nintendo may seem hard to screw up, but NES veterans know all too well how easy it is to trip into that pitfall. Just add a dash of sloppy game control and title's fate is sealed.

Lifeless and Boring Graphics |
The presentation in Crash Dummies is uninspired in every sense of the word. You control one of the namesake dummies, jogging and bouncing around cookie-cutter platforming levels, constantly interrupted by unavoidable projectiles and comic explosions. Beneath the stale and lifeless level design is a mish-mash of poor music design and headache-inducing sound effects. Truly, "annoying" does not begin to describe this game. Not close to being worth the chips its printed on, Crash Dummies isn't worth your money nor your time.
